The University of Debrecen and the University of Oradea have started a common, EU-funded research project to examine the labour market situation in the Bihar region, mainly the employment opportunities for young people.
On 27 July, the detectives of the Criminal Investigation Division of the Debrecen Police Department caught and arrested 3 people who are legitimately suspected of having offered alcohol mixed with sleeping potion to people on the street who, after consuming the mixture, fell into unconsciousness. The perpetrators then stole their valuables.
