The Book of Life (2014), directed by the Mexican animator, painter and writer Jorge R. Gutiérrez, is a spectacular 3D computer-animated musical-comedy film. The movie stars the voices of such well-known actors and actresses as Diego Luna, Channing Tatum, Christina Applegate or the rapper and producer Ice Cube.
The film premiered in Los Angeles in the October of 2014 and received positive reviews from critics and audience as well.
