The new movie of the respected film director Alejandro González Inarritu, entitled The Revenant (2015), is a breathtaking biographical western based on true events.
The film depicts the dangerous odyssey of Hugh Glass, who was a frontiersman and fur trapper in the 1820s and who was left behind to die by his partners in the wilderness after being attacked by a grizzly bear.
The movie was premiered at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on the 16th December and received highly positive response from both audience and critics.
