Electricity supply is not a lossmaker

Electricity sector in Hungary is not a lossmaker, it is confirmed by the tables of 2011.

Six electricity distributors are working in Hungary, all of them are part of the following foreign companies: RWE, E.ON, EDF.

Concerning distributed supply, EDF made more than 7,6 billion Forints profit, E.ON made more than 9,1 million and RWE made 15,3 million Forints in 2011.

On the level of companies the profits were: EDF made more than 8 million, E.ON made almost 10,2 million, RWE made more than 12,8 million.

The annual taxed amount of the three companies was 31 billion Forints in 2011.
