Bohemian night in the University
Tamás Ittzés, the “Main Bohemian” will be the guest of the Friends of the Jazz on 9th of December at 20 o’clock. He is the leader of the Bohém Ragtime Jazz Band and the organizers promise an awesome evening.
The Five
The Aba Taano band will perform on 8th of December in the Kölcsey Convention Centre’s Grand Hall at 19 o’clock. They sing in Swahili, Luganda, Fang, Zulu, Lutoro and Acoli. They dance too.
Solidarity, sex, Warsaw
Since 19th of November there is another provocative exhibition in the Modem. The Banana republic is breaking taboos. It has topics like the surviving Hitler-myth, the interest of the politicians in informing or not the society and the sexual desire which influences the public life.
Lethal Weapon in the Kölcsey Center tonight
Typically blend jazz with instrumental pop and R&B. David Sanborn will play in the Grand Hall of the Kölcsey Convention Centre at 19 o’clock on 18th of November.
Ballet and Rooster
On 17th of November 2 new ballet pieces will be presented in the Fönix Hall: the Rooster by the Rolling Stones-Christopher Bruce and The death and the girl by F.Schubert-Robert North. The Ballet of Györ is 30 years old.
The friends of the Jazz meet again
On 11th of November the Artézis Jazz Trio will be the guest of the Galéria Café in the Life Sciences Building.
