Canadian musician, songwriter and poet Leonard Cohen died at the age of 82.Leonard Norman Cohen was born in 1934 in Quebec. His career started in the 1960s with his first album entitled Songs of Leonard Cohen.
He visited Hungary in 2009 when he gave a super, three-hour-long concert in Budapest.
He received a number of prizes and awards during his lifetime and several of his songs became massive hits throughout the world.
Leonard Cohen died on the 7th of November, 2016 at his home in Los Angeles. His death has been announced only on the 10th of November.
