10th Renewal Congress of Fidelitas

At the weekend, the youth organization of Fidelitas held its renewal congress in Kölcsey Központ, Debrecen. The delegates had to vote for the president and vice-presidents if the organization.

Péter Ágh, the former president of Fidelitas got 90% of the votes, so he remains president for another two years. According to his programme, one of the most important tasks for the next two years is the representation of youth interests in the governmental work, the other is the expansion of the organization.
The congress started witht the Prime Ministers’s video message in which he said that the renewal of the country is in the hands of the youth and the government counts on their work.
Tha mayor of Debrecen, Lajos Kósa spoke about Hungary being one of the most exciting European country nowadays and told that it’s good to be young here. The presence of youth in political life is very important, he said, because today’s decisions mean their future.
The delegates elected the vice presidents, too. László Böröcz (Budapest), Zsuzsa Kérdő (Hajdú-Bihar), Péter Mihalovics (Veszprém), Tamás Vizin (Bács-Kiskun), Ádám Vörös (Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok) and Marcell Zsiga (Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén) have been re-elected, while the new vice-presidents are Gergely Balogh (Fejér), Zoltán Domonyi (Bács-Kiskun), Ádám Karácsony (Pest), Erzsébet Király (Budapest), Gergő Komár (Somogy), Tibor Magera (Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg), Sándor Oroján (Heves), Nóra Rónaszéki (Békés), András Várfi (Békés) and Ágnes Vincze (Budapest).
