Using some EU financial resources, the local DILK Kft. has started a project that will create 400 new job opportunities in Debrecen. The foundation stone of the new office building was laid down on the grounds of the former tobacco factory in Debrecen on Thursday.
Owner-manager József Boros said that they had won an EU aid of 275 million forints for the project that costs 970 million forints. Besides the offices, hot and cold kitchens, a restaurant and a 70-car parking lot will be built in the 7300-square meter office building. “Currently 1200 employers of 70 companies are working in the Lion Office Center that has been established on the territory of the former tobacco factory. If the need arises, the complex will be expanded with yet another building of similar size.” – József Boros explained.
