Police confiscated fake pills

A 51-year-old man was selling counterfeit pills in Debrecen.

According to the available information, National Tax and Customs Administration found 510 pieces of counterfeit pills at the Vágóhíd Utca market on 16 September 2017. The drugs with Cyrillic script were sold by a local man, named Tamás B..

After confiscating the drugs, the police took the 51-year-old man to the local police station. Tamás B. said that he wanted to sell the pills at the market and that they were painkillers.

The police have recently finished the investigation in the case and the motion of prosecution was sent to the Debrecen Prosecutor’s Office.
