Weather alerts issued for several Hungarian counties

The Hungarian Meteorology Service has issued red and orange weather alerts for several counties.

 Orange weather alert because of the huge amount of rain:

Baranya, Bács-Kiskun, Békés, Csongrád, Hajdú-Bihar, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, Somogy, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg, Tolna, Vas, Veszprém and Zala

Red weather alert because of sleet:

Baranya, Békés, Csongrád, Tolna, Bács-Kiskun, Hajdú-Bihar, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg

Weather alert because of snow:

Budapest and Pest county, Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Fejér, Győr-Moson-Sopron, Hajdú-Bihar, Heves, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, Komárom-Esztergom, Nógrád, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg, Vas, Veszprém and Zala

Orange weather alert because of snowdrifts:

Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén and Heves, Budapest and Pest county, Fejér, Győr-Moson-Sopron, Hajdú-Bihar, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, Komárom-Esztergom, Nógrád, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg and Vas

 

According to weather forecasts, on Saturday, the lowest temperatures will be between 0 and 6 Celsius degrees, and the highest will be 1-8 Celsius degrees.
