The Police caught five man-smugglers today.

On 17 May two cars were taken under control at the crossing point of Mosonmagyaróvár. It turned out that the drivers of the cars intended to smuggle four-four refugees to Western Europe. The 45 and 46 years old men were taken to the Police Captaincy of Hajdúszoboszló.

Later, detectives of the Central Police Station of Hajdú-Bihar County identified those two men, a Jordanian and a Syrian one, who helped to smuggle the refugees. The Jordanian and Syrian perpetrators were caught by the Police on 22 May. After that another man from Hajdúszoboszló, who helped to organize the action, was also taken to the Police Captaincy.

The five men are on remand; a procedure was initiated against them on the reasonable suspicion of man-smuggling.
