The Italian former professional footballer and his team came to the university to hold a training to more than 300 coaches. He presented the Roby Baggio-Horst Wein FuNino training method during the two days. The training method could be summed up as follows: taking a more holistic approach, incorporating training and learning that will enhance all aspect of a young player’s life; developing co-ordination, leadership and tactical awareness in addition to just technique; training via a logical progression of development based on intellectual and physical capabilities of players; focusing on how skill should be best applied. A unique feature of the program is that it also examines the development of young footballers from a medical point of view, based on the kinetic functioning of the brain (BrainKinetic).

Besides presenting the FuNino method, Robby Baggio took part in the wreathing ceremony of the Jenő Buzánszky statue, which is placed in front of the Sports Science Coordination Institute.
