Wizz Air will resume four Middle Eastern routes from Budapest, with direct flights to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah and Amman set to return from October.
According to the announcement, Wizz Air is gradually restoring its services, taking into account revisions and changes to the European Union Aviation Safety Agency’s (EASA) conflict-zone recommendations for the region, as well as its own comprehensive operational and safety assessments.
The airline emphasized that aviation safety remains its top priority, and the operation of all flights will depend on continuous operational and safety assessments.
During the winter season, Wizz Air will restore services to Jordan, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia on 12 routes, operating 49 flights per week. The relaunch comes as millions of Europeans begin planning their winter holidays, with many looking for warmer destinations during the colder months. The airline will offer a total of 470,000 seats on these routes during the winter season from nine European cities.
Wizz Air operates a fleet of 273 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft and carried 68.6 million passengers in 2025.
