The Campus Festival in Debrecen is not just about music; it’s a vibrant celebration that extends beyond the stage to offer a plethora of engaging activities for all ages. This year, the festival has expanded its offerings with several unique program areas, each bringing something special to the event.

Civil Village: a hub of interactive fun and learning

One of the festival’s standout features is the Civil Village. With a rich tradition of offering diverse and interactive experiences, this area is a focal point for family-friendly activities. The Civil Village is supported by 46 civil organizations and institutions, including the Hajdú-Bihar County Police Headquarters and DVSC Football Club. This year, visitors can explore various initiatives such as road safety, traffic education, and sustainable mobility through projects like Safe Future in Mobility.

The Safe Future project, involving organizations from Spain, Greece, Italy, and Hungary, aims to build a robust network dedicated to promoting road safety and sustainable transportation. This initiative represents the collective effort to enhance road safety education and encourage environmentally friendly travel practices.

Campus Kid Playland: a wonderland for children

Adjacent to the Civil Village is the Campus Kid Playland, a newly introduced feature at the festival. For the first time in the festival’s history, a dedicated childcare area has been established in the Unifit facility, open from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This allows parents to enjoy concerts and other festival activities while their children are cared for in a safe, supervised environment.

The Campus Kid Playland is brimming with interactive games, visual spectacles, folk playhouses, and programs designed for children of all ages. From the youngest toddlers to older kids, there is something for everyone in this vibrant and dynamic space.

Civil Agora Program Stage: meeting TV legends

At the Civil Agora Program Stage, festival-goers have the opportunity to meet and interact with television legends. This stage continues its tradition of bringing renowned figures from the media world to engage with the audience. Whether through discussions or live interactions, this program area offers a unique chance to connect with some of Hungary’s most iconic TV personalities.

The Campus Festival 2024 offers an enriching experience that goes beyond music, featuring a diverse array of activities and educational programs. From the interactive and family-oriented attractions of the Civil Village and Campus Kid Playland to the engaging discussions at the Civil Agora Program Stage and the innovative solution.
