The Traffic Police Department of the Debrecen Police Headquarters is conducting an investigation on suspicion of the misdemeanor of negligently causing a road accident.
According to the investigation, at around 5 p.m. on May 15, 2026, a man was cycling on Boka Károly Street in Debrecen. In front of No. 9, he collided at the pavement crossing with an unidentified person riding an e-scooter. The cyclist sustained serious injuries in the accident.
The Debrecen Police Headquarters is asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has information about the circumstances to come forward in person at the Traffic Police Department of the Debrecen Police Headquarters (149 Sámsoni út, Debrecen), or by calling 06-52/457-040, available 24 hours a day.
