Nearly 200 scientific programmes and hundreds of visitors once again made Researchers’ Night a popular event across the University of Debrecen’s campuses. Spectacular experiments, exciting laboratory tours and educational talks by researchers attracted numerous school groups and families to the university.
Interesting and spectacular physics experiments were presented at Egyetem tér, while visitors could learn folk dancing and folk songs in the Main Building’s Ceremonial Courtyard and practise proper CPR techniques in the cloister.
There was plenty to see beyond the Main Building as well. At the Chemistry Building and the Life Sciences Building, even younger visitors had the chance to pick up laboratory flasks and take part in experiments, while at the Faculty of Dentistry, visitors could try using a dental drill with the help of simulators.
The university also shared a video showcasing the highlights of the programmes.
