Located next to the Amur Tiger and Asiatic Lion Enclosures, the Bridge Pond has rightfully earned its status as a visitor favorite since it is a delightful little piece of nature, home to a rich array of popular ornamental plants, both exotic and ordinary.
Inhabitants include flamboyant daylilies and yellow irises as well as charming water lilies and lovely purple loosestrifes. The Pond is surrounded by swamp rose-mallows, ranging between pink, white and purple, bright green spiderworts and bamboos, and striped maiden silvergrass.
