Last week, it was announced that the soundtrack to the upcoming biographical film about the singer, Better Man: Robbie Williams, will be released digitally on December 27th. The physical release is expected to follow.

Robbie Williams holds numerous records for live performances. Over 1.6 million tickets were sold in a single day for his 2006 world tour, and it’s also a world record that 375,000 fans attended his three-night performance at Knebworth.

The film Better Man: Robbie Williams will also be shown in Hungarian cinemas from December 26th. Directed by Michael Gracey, the film tells Robbie Williams’ life story from his perspective, capturing his signature wit and boundless enthusiasm. The film follows him from childhood, showing how he became the youngest member of the chart-topping boy band Take That, and then a solo artist who broke records and achieved unparalleled success – while also facing the challenges that come with worldwide fame and success.

The British pop star last visited the Hungarian capital in March last year, performing at the Budapest Sports Arena as part of his XXV European tour. Prior to that, he visited Budapest in 2017, performing at the Groupama Arena, and in 2015, he performed on the minus one day of the Sziget Festival.

Throughout his solo career, he has released twelve studio albums, selling approximately 60 million albums and 11 million singles worldwide. Six of his albums have made it onto the list of the best-selling albums of all time in the UK.
