Tomorrow (17th of November) you can be a part of a truly unique event, if you visit the Protestant Great Church of Debrecen (Kálvin Square). The famous Hungarian jazz band, the Benkó Dixieland Band will perform their special Christmas composition tomorrow at the church.
For the first time in the world, the Hungarian jazz band had composed a music from New Orleans, mixed with the melodies of a Christmas liturgy, and they presented their composition accompanied a classical choir at a special Christmass mass years ago, in 1991.
Now, you can be a part of this special experience.
The mass starts tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. in the Great Church. Tickets can be booked online.
