According to the reports of the UNICEF and the WHO, 89% of the world population, which is approximately 6,1 billion people, obtained clean drinking water in 2010.

The chart indicates the changes of the percentages per year. The yellow line shows the percentage of those who could not have clean drinking water and the blue one shows the percentage of those who got clean drinking water.
