The Kecskemét Air Base of the Hungarian Defence Forces, officially known as the vitéz Szentgyörgyi Dezső 101st Air Wing, will conduct afternoon and evening training exercises on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, the unit announced on its social media page.
According to the statement, pilots will carry out flight tasks on April 22, 23, and 24 between 4:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. These exercises are essential for maintaining their operational readiness and ensuring continuous airspace defense.
During the exercises, residents in and around Kecskemét, Szolnok, Eger, Debrecen, Miskolc, Mezőkövesd, Tiszafüred, Szigetvár, Nagyatád, Kadarkút, Kaposvár, Veszprém, Várpalota, and Hajmáskér may experience unusually loud aircraft noise and sounds.
