Due to a cross-border cooperation, the University of Debrecen has the most modern multimedia studio in the country. The project called “Common Multimedia Network System of the University of Debrecen and the University of Nagyvárad” has been attained within the framework of Hungarian-Romanian Cooperation Programme.
The development programme began last May at both universities. After 14 months’ work, the new multimedia studios are equipped by the latest devices of video, television and radio technology.
As the project leader Zoltán Gál said, even live broadcasting would be possible on 6 parallel channels on the intranet of the university.
The new studio once had functioned as a professor’s residence.
