The police caught four people and took another seventeen to various police stations in Hajdú-Bihar County yesterday.
Three people were caught in the act of committing crimes; one was taken into custody on the basis of a warrant for arrest issued by the court of Debrecen. Two people were taken to police stations as suspects.
There were three traffic accidents, from which two resulted in serious injuries and one in minor ones.
A local resident notified the police yesterday morning that his bicycle was stolen. After a thorough investigation the Debrecen police managed to find out the identity of the thief. The 29 year old perpetrator was caught and taken to the police station, where a procedure was initiated against him on reasonable suspicion of theft.
