The police caught two people and took another sixteen to various police stations in Hajdú-Bihar County yesterday.
One perpetrator was caught in the act of committing a crime and another one was taken into custody on the basis of a warrant for arrest issued by the court of Debrecen. Five people were taken to police stations as suspects.
There were four traffic accidents from which all resulted in minor injuries.
Two women were caught committing prostitution yesterday morning at the junction of Hadházi Út and Kurta Utca. The 20 and 25 year old local residents were taken to the Debrecen police station where procedures were initiated against them on reasonable suspicion of prostitution.
A 37 year old man was caught stealing cosmetic items in a supermarket in Debrecen yesterday evening. After the security guards called the police, Zoltán S. was taken to the police station where a procedure was initiated against him on reasonable suspicion of theft.
