Summary for 17 September
The police caught eight people and took another thirty-three to various police stations in Hajdú-Bihar County yesterday.
Five perpetrators were caught in the act of committing crimes and another three were taken into custody on the basis of warrants for arrest issued by the court of Debrecen. Thirteen people were taken to police stations as suspects.
There was one traffic accident that resulted in minor injuries.
A 50 year old man was taken to the Balmazújváros police station for theft. Ferenc F. sneaked into a family house in Balmazújváros on 18 September and tried to steal various items; he was caught in the act by the owner of the house. The perpetrator was taken to the police station where a procedure was initiated against him on reasonable suspicion of theft.
