Flower cart of the University of Debrecen is ready to take part in this year’s Flower Carnival on the 20th of August. The chariot’s theme is the well-known and popular American movie entitled Back to the Future (1985) and which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. The cart will be accompanied by the cheerleaders of the uni who will perform their show for the rhythms of the song called The Power of Love.
March of the flower carts will start at 7:00 am tomorrow with a bicycle procession, after that the 16 flower chariot can be watched on various spots of the city (Petőfi square – Kossuth square – Hatvan street – Bethlen street – Egyetem avenue – Nagyerdei Blvd. – Nagyerdő Stadium).
The audience can vote for the best carts via phone. If you have a favourite flower chariot, send an SMS to the following telephone number between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm with the cart’s number: 20/20-20-220.
Number of the university’s chariot is 5.
Night programmes of the Flower Carnival will start at 7:30 pm at the Stadium where almost 2000 musician and performer will entertain the audience.
