According to the Hungarian Meteorology Service, heat wave and 40 Celsius degrees are expected to come next week.
Orange alert was issued for the following counties: Baranya, Bács-Kiskun, Győr-Moson-Sopron, Somogy, Tolna, Vas; red alert was issued for Pest, Békés, Csongrád, Fejér, Hajdú-Bihar, Heves, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, Komárom-Esztergom and Veszprém.
The highest temperatures will be 35-40 Celsius degrees and the lowest will be 20-27 Celsius degrees.
