Snow, sleet and rain expected for the upcoming week

The Hungarian Meteorology Service issued second-degree weather alerts for several Hungarian counties because of sleet.

By the end of the week, the highest temperatures could hit 13 Celsius degrees.

On Monday, rain, sleet, snow and wind are expected. For Monday, second-degree weather alerts were issued because of sleet for the following counties: Pest, Fejér and Komárom-Esztergom, first-degree alerts for Nógrád and Veszprém. The lowest temperatures will be around -6 and 2 Celsius degrees and the highest will be between 0-7 Celsius degrees.

No precipitation is expected for Tuesday. At night, there will be -5 and 0 Celsius degrees, while during the day, the temperatures will be around 0 and 6 Celsius degrees.

Rain and sleet are expected on Wednesday. He lowest temperatures will be around -8 and -3 Celsius degrees and the highest will be between -1 and 5 Celsius degrees.

Thursday will also be rainy, in some regions of the country, snow is also expected. At night, the temperatures will be between -6 and 1 Celsius degrees, while during the day, -1 and 5 Celsius degrees are expected.

Friday morning is to be cloudy and foggy. Rain, sleet and snow are expected. The lowest temperatures will be around -6 and 0 Celsius degrees and the highest will be between 1-6 Celsius degrees.

On Saturday, rain and stormy wind are expected. The lowest temperatures will be around -3 and 2 Celsius degrees and the highest will be between 3-10 Celsius degrees.

Sunday will also be rainy and windy. At night, the temperatures will be round 0-6 Celsius degrees, while during the day, the highest temperatures could hit 13 Celsius degrees.
