The 41-year-old man had a fight with his girlfriend and then broke a shop window. Police have completed the investigation.
On the night of July 18, 2021, passers-by informed the police that a man had broken into a shop window on Piac Street in Debrecen. Eyewitnesses reported a couple arguing loudly, then the man grabbed a trash can and tossed it in a shop window.
The officers were given an accurate description of the woman and her friend, so they were found in minutes, even near the scene. The man was held accountable for what had happened, who had already admitted that he had become so nervous in the heat of the debate that he could not contain himself.
The Debrecen Police Headquarters launched an investigation against him on the basis of a well-founded suspicion of committing a riot. The police took the necessary procedural steps and sent the resulting documents to the competent prosecutor’s office.
