With new exhibitors, popular “regulars,” star performers, and a fan zone, the 8th Debrecziner Gourmet Festival—organized by Főnix Rendezvényszervező Nonprofit Kft.—welcomed guests from June 14 to 16.
According to the organizers, the event attracted 5,800 visitors over the weekend. Among the most popular food vendors were KIOSK Budapest, Horgonyzó Kisvendéglő, A Leves, and Borsod Burger. In the beverage category, highlights included Bortársaság, Koktélszínház, and Ugar. The most attended programs were the concerts by Bea Palya and the band Zaporozsec, as well as the Michelin-star cooking show by Ádám Mede and Essencia Restaurant.
In addition to top restaurants, star chefs also participated as guest exhibitors. Under the professional guidance of Ádám Thür, head chef at IKON Restaurant, festivalgoers had the chance to meet celebrated chefs such as János Mizse, Szabolcs Balogh, and Ádám Mede.
The Debrecziner Gourmet Award, established in 2018, was once again presented—this year going to Vadaskert Restaurant from Hajdúszoboszló, based on visitor votes. Though less than a day has passed since the event closed, preparations for the 9th edition of the Debrecziner Gourmet Festival are already underway.
