Iconic Iranian Photographer Dies at 89

Popular Iranian photographer Shahrokh Hatami died at the age of 89.Photos of Shrahrokh Hatami were often published on the magazines’ covers: he took photos during the revolution of 1956 in Budapest and during the Iranian Islamic revolution too.

The photographer was born in 1928 in Teheran, Iran. He started his career as a journalist and photographer at a daily newspaper, and later he even worked for the famous American magazine Life.

Francine Capron, the partner of Shrakrokh Hatami announced the photographer’s death. The artist died at the age of 89 in France.
