An agricultural conference was held today.
János Nagy, president of Centre for Agricultural and Applied Economics, University of Debrecen said that the number of irrigated fields should be raised by 30-50 thousands acres in order to settle corn produce.
At the moment the number of irrigated fields do not exceed 100 thousand acres in Hungary.
