Mostly sunny, dry, and warm weather is expected throughout the week. However, mornings at the start of the week may still be chilly, and by the weekend, the chance of showers and thunderstorms will increase again, with a slight drop in temperatures by the first Sunday of May — according to the forecast from HungaroMet Zrt.
On Monday, mainly partly cloudy and sunny weather is expected without precipitation, although in some parts of the Great Plain (Alföld), there may still be areas with heavier cloud cover in the morning. The south to southeast winds will strengthen only in a few places. The highest daytime temperatures will range between 19–23°C.
On Tuesday, sunny and dry conditions are likely. In the afternoon, some cumulus clouds will form, but atmospheric pressure will remain weak or moderate. Morning temperatures will range from 5–10°C, possibly even cooler in colder northern valleys, while by afternoon, temperatures will rise to between 20–25°C.
On Wednesday, sunny and dry weather is expected with a few thin high clouds and some cumulus clouds; winds will remain light to moderate. Morning temperatures will be around 7–12°C, slightly lower in colder areas. In the afternoon, it will warm up to between 22–27°C.
On Thursday, May 1, sunny and dry weather is expected with a few cumulus and high clouds. Winds will increasingly turn to a northerly direction and strengthen in many areas, especially in the northeast where gusts could be strong. Morning lows will range between 6–13°C, with afternoon highs between 22–27°C, slightly cooler in the northeast.
On Friday, sunny weather is expected, but in the second half of the day, clouds will increase from the northwest, and the chance of showers and thunderstorms will rise. The southwest to west winds may strengthen, with some strong gusts. Morning temperatures will range from 2–12°C (coldest in the northeast), and afternoon highs will reach 21–28°C.
On Saturday, partly cloudy and sunny weather is expected with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Southwest to west winds could be brisk or strong, with possibly stormy gusts near thunderstorms. Morning lows will be between 7–15°C, with daytime temperatures ranging from 21–28°C.
On Sunday, clouds may temporarily thicken from the north, but plenty of sunshine is still expected. Scattered showers and thunderstorms may develop. Winds turning to northwest and north will strengthen in many areas, with stormy gusts possible, especially near thunderstorms. Morning temperatures will be between 8–16°C, and daytime highs will range between 16–24°C.
