A 22-year-old man was taken to the Debrecen police station for stealing various sports equipment.
The police have followed a man who was riding a bicycle on Izsó Utca on 12 June 2016. The police started to follow him, because ha was acting strangely; he looked into the courtyards of houses and watched every parking vehicles. Suddenly he jumped into one of the courtyards, so the police went after him.
After gathering all the information, it turned out that the 22-year-old man has stolen several sport equipment and sports clothing from a garage located on Vasvári Pál Utca. The bicycle that he was riding was also stolen; he stole it from Besze János Utca.
The police confiscated all the stolen goods; later everything was given back to the owners.
Zoltán J. was taken to the police station where a procedure was initiated against him on reasonable suspicion of theft.
