American astronaut visiting Debrecen…
On the 7th of December Marsha S. Ivins American astronaut, engineer of the of the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center, colleague of NASA, member of the crew of Columbia and Atlantis space shuttle, is visiting Debrecen. She is giving a presentation (illustrated with pictures) about the history and current situation of space exploration.
The title of her lecture: Human Spaceflight, past, present, and uncertain future
Date & place: 7 December, Studio 111 (Institute of English-American Studies, Main Building, Egyetem square)

On the same day, at 3 p.m. an organized discussion with her is going to be held at the American Corner, whose topic is about her unique career as a woman.
