The University of Debrecen has finished among the best this year, too, among Hungarian universities, ranking 696 on the list, making it into the top 2.5% of global institutions of higher education.
The University of Debrecen is joined on this list by five further Hungarian universities: Eötvös Loránd University of Arts and Sciences , Semmelweis Medical University, Egyetem, Szeged University of Arts and Sciences. Pécs University of Arts and Sciences and the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
CWUR ranks universities on the basis of eight aspects: quality of education (25%), graduate employmen (25%), teachers’ excellence (25%), number of publications (5%), influence of scientific research published in prestigious journals (5%), citation ratio (5%), extensive influence based on h-index (5%), and the number of patents (5%). In terms of Citations, the University of Debrecen ranks second among Hungarian universities.
The first three places in the ranking are taken by USA universities, followed in fourth and fifth places by universities in the UK.
