Péter Mihalovics, ministerial director responsible for the future of the next generation said he would finance youth programs and institutions from EU funding. János Halász Secretary of State, however, promised national funds for all these.

The programs that are planned to change youth policy are going to begin in 2012 and will primarily be financed by EU funds. “…in the current economic situation we are trying to formulate programs that can be implemented from EU financing.”- said Péter Mihalovics. At a conference held in Debrecen, János Halász declared that the government intends to use state money, too.
