The new tramline was officially inaugurated this morning in Debrecen.
The ceremony that began at 10 am was opened by the speech of Lajos Kósa, mayor of Debrecen.
After the speech, the Spanish Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles (CAF) tramcars started to run on their way. From now on, every passenger receives a free ticket that has to be validated. The ticket promotion lasts until Monday, 3 March 2014.
