Everyday Life in Vienna in the 19th Century

An astonishing display has been opened at the University of Debrecen about everyday life in Vienna at the beginning of the 19th century.

The exhibition was organized by the Department of German Studies and the Department of History on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the Congress of Vienna.

The exhibited pictures and objects can be visited on the third floor of the main building for two weeks from the 2nd of November. Visitors can learn about culture, arts, fashion and everyday life in general in Vienna, Austria during the one and the half years when the congress made the city the centre of the world for a short period.

The display is supported by the Austrian Cultural Forum of Budapest.
