The announcement of results of the 32nd Hungarian Photo Contest was held yesterday afternoon in Budapest.
9583 photos of 310 photographers were competing, that is 22% more than last year. Most of the photos, namely 182, were sent to the portrait category.
István Bielik won the first place, the Blue Ribbon with his photo called “The Never-ending Hell”.
István Derencsényi, a photographer from Debrecen won the second place with his picture entitled “The Spirit of the Hungarian Culture”.
