Beauty and the Beast (2014) by the French film director Christophe Gans is a perfect pre-Christmas movie based on the traditional fairy tale.
The movie was premiered at the 64th Berlin International Film Festival and recieved positive reviews from both critics and the audience. It has also been nominated for the People’s Choice Award for the Best European Film at the 27th European Film Awards.
