The University of Debrecen carries out significant improvement with its consortium partners by means of a $ 1,58 billion project according to the MTI. This improvement of theoretical and practical applications is related to the rapid development of info technology and internet usage.
János Sztrik, professional leader said on a news conference that this program was at the halfway point, at present, the participants improved new servers which are necessary because of the growth of internet usage and the issues about internet security were prioritized. He also declared that development of online mobile applications and protocols which facilitate everyday life was among the research topics.
So far, this is the largest development program in the Faculty of Informatics and the creation of specifically educational materials is found among topics of the project, as well.
Besides the research and educational subprojects, the Future Internet Research Coordination Centre has been established which has the mission of being the regional centre of domestic internet researches.
By means of the $ 1,58 billion project supported by the European Union international conferences are organized, scholarships are financed, IT and electronic devices are bought and the participants undertake the preparation of 180 scientific publications.
