Fully 4,931 people crossed into Hungary directly from Ukraine on Tuesday, while another 3,390 crossed from Romania, the National Police Headquarters (ORFK) said.
Police issued 30-day residency permits to 132 people, ORFK told MTI on Wednesday. Budapest received 114 people, 45 children among them, who travelled by train, ORFK said.
