On Sunday night a local citizen notified the police about three people behaving suspiciously next to a parking car in Hortobágy Street.
A large police force rushed to the scene where they managed to surround the people who, therefore, were unable to steal fuel from the car. The 36-year-old man and his 26 and 24 years old companions tried to steal gasoline from the parking vehicles. The police officers checked the nearby cars and found other two with open fuel tanks. Further search revealed a 5 liter plastic bottle and a ca 1.5 meter long plastic tube. The thieves attempted to drain fuel using these equipments. The police started prosecuting the three men for attempted theft.
