The local government of Debrecen submitted a tender for the construction of an intermodal center. The amount, which is 767 million Forints, is provided by the European Union.
The intermodal center would include the bus station, the railway station and the coach terminal. According to the plans, the center will be 43.000 m2 from which there would be restaurants and bars on 5.200 m2 and offices on 4.200 m2.
