It has been difficult to drive on the Vágóhíd utca overpass for a long time. Due to heavy traffic, it is often the line to Zsibogó beyond the roof of the “bridge”. To resolve the situation, a right-turning lane will be built on Vágóhíd Street in the direction of Hajnal Street – read on debrecen.hu.
The transformation will be completed with almost HUF 100 million with government support, in the hands of Nemzeti Infrastruktúra Fejlesztő Zrt.
During the work, motorists should also expect traffic restrictions, and even minor congestion may develop at this stage, informs the NIF.
“During construction, the existing straight-right lane will be closed during the day and restrictions will be lifted on weekdays at the end of working hours.
The conversion is expected to be completed by August 2021. It is planned that a 147-meter-long foot and bicycle path will be built in parallel.
