A machine cut a gas pipeline on Wednesday afternoon near Debrecen, next to the main road No. 48.
Professional firefighters from Debrecen marched to the site and created a safety zone within a radius of one hundred meters and secured the site. The main road was closed to its full width while the gas supply specialists worked to rectify the fault. Due to the incident, gas supply was cut off in seventy households. The intervention was directed by the county disaster response operations service.
Due to the leak, DKV’s 37 route was also diverted.
