“ONA”, the self-driving package delivery vehicle, has arrived in Debrecen – mayor László Papp announced on Tuesday.
After Debrecen, the transport robot was also tested in Spain
Between November 9 and 16, this autonomous vehicle will be tested in Debrecen, in addition to Barcelona and Hamburg.
According to the town hall, the public presentation of the self-driving device will begin on November 17 at 1 p.m. on Piac Street.
Ona is the robot prototype of the LogiSmile project. During the mentioned period, you can meet him on the streets of the city center on several occasions – the mayor indicated and noted that in the future the device will make the delivery of packages easier.
Sándor Nagy wrote in the age of representative that the transport robot developed by the CARNET mobility research center is 1.1 meters wide, 1 meter high, and 1.7 meters long, together with its cargo container. The robot device called ADD has a speed of 20 kilometers per hour, and its great innovation is that it can even navigate stairs.
