Work is underway at four major intersections in Debrecen simultaneously, causing significant inconvenience for drivers.
The mayor of Debrecen announced on his social media page that, following the winter break, construction has resumed on the development of the four large intersections in the city.
At the intersection of Balmazújvárosi Road – Füredi Road – Csigekert Street – Szabó Lőrinc Street, the contractor is carrying out water utility replacement works and related construction tasks.
At the Szoboszlói Road – Külsővásártér intersection, phased sidewalk construction is currently taking place in the area around Mechwart and the Ambulance Station.
At the intersection of Hétvezér Street – Budai Nagy Antal Street, utility construction and road structure works are in progress.
In Phase I of the project connecting Main Road 354 and Main Road 33 (on the section between Main Road 354 and Vezér Street), embankment construction, stormwater drainage works, drinking water line replacement, and bridge construction are currently underway. Preparations for laying the bridge structure’s foundations have begun.
