On January 27, 2022, two men broke into a jewelry store in Debrecen. One of them pointed a gun at the salesman and then they both started beating him. A fight started between the victim and his attackers, and the suspects were forced to flee.

Thanks to the coordinated and prompt response of the police, the alleged perpetrators of the crime were apprehended minutes after the report. Following their interrogation of the suspect, the 46-year-old man and his 37-year-old brother were detained by investigators and submitted a motion to arrest them, which was ordered by the Debrecen District Court on January 29, 2022.
